The exterior was given a comprehensive redesign with an interior layout and design lovingly reimagined to bring it into the current era.
A boat house and entirely new guest house contain even more modern amenities, to fully outfit the property.
Traditional materials and classic roof lines acknowledge the value of what came before.

Process & Details

On a narrow waterfront lot, every decision mattered. The floor plan was carefully composed to open up to the Intracoastal — framing the view from the moment you step through the front door.
The kitchen is often the heart of the home, which makes its design all the more important. Every detail matters — from the height of the appliances to the placement of each cabinet — so the space feels both functional and effortless.
A guest house anchors the front of the property, while the primary home opens to sweeping Intracoastal views. Between them, a courtyard pool and curated landscape create a seamless connection—blending architecture and nature into one continuous experience.
Two materials we love weaving into interior architecture: plaster and pecky cypress. Each brings a quiet richness — plaster with its soft, sculptural texture and pecky cypress with its organic warmth — breathing life into the walls and grounding the space in natural beauty.
